I have a golden retriever 7 months old female puppy.
She is good at everything almost but she's very stubborn and sometime she behaves very weird like running around even if she herself is getting hurt and uncontrollably.
Can you suggest me if it's normal or there's something I can do ?

Hello Shelly thanks for writing to us. This is completely normal behaviour for any breed of dog at this age, with that said I would like to tell you that the behaviours she is showing is just because she is not getting enough daily exercise which is what she really needs at her age. At this age (7months) I would consider her as a puppy, not an adult dog. Puppies usually have lots of drives and energy as compared to an adult dog and it is our responsibility to drain their energy through by moderate playing, exercising (mental & physical), starting obedience training with her (by your own not by a trainer) etc. During this period you also need to establish yourself as a fair pack leader and control all the aspect of her life. It is you who will decide when to play and when not to, when to go walk when not to, when to eat when not to etc... But you must do all of these things in a very fair manner and not being bullish.

One more thing that I need to know more from you as what you have quoted here in your question”she’s very stubborn”. What does it mean? Please explain me precisely. I have written many articles in my website and I would like you to visit the segments & read them.

I have given few links below which is relative to your query.
